La vida del artista

La vida del artista

Twice nominated for the Latin Grammy Awards in the category of Best Flamenco Album, María López Tristancho - better known by her stage name Argentina - is one of the leading figures in flamenco today. And although the fandangos of her native Huelva are her flagship, her vocational singing has also navigated other forms of music such as Cuban son, salsa, fado, tango and symphonic music.

She is now visiting the Veranos de la Villa festival to unveil The Life of the Artist, a show with which Argentina wants to pay tribute to the day-to-day life of any artist through flamenco, the world of sevillanas, song, theatre and classical music. All of this achieved with that characteristic vocal timbre with which she has forged a path through all manners of audiences, and with her strong stage presence.
