Miguel Muñoz, Jaime Figueroa and Kiko Pastur. Samuel Tirado, piano.
Three of Spain’s most outstanding illusionists join us in a performance created exclusively for this festival in which tricks that have won prizes in international competitions follow one after the other.
Miguel Muñoz presents “Tres momentos insólitos” (Three Unusual Moments) and “Agua” (Water). Numbers in which he uses magic as a language to create absurd moments, visual metaphors and a hypnotic experience.
Jaime Figueroa became a magician when he was just a boy. Specialising in comic magic and ventriloquism, he applies contemporary artistic content to magic and masters the materials used in the construction of artefacts and dummies.
Among many other prizes, Kiko Pastur, an illusionist, entertainment producer and director of the Museum of Magic in Santiago de Compostela (the only one of its kind in Galicia), was awarded the World Magic Prize (FISM Stockholm 2006). His performances are always motivated by experimentation, play, poetry and innovation in the art of magic.
