Cuentos y Leyendas de Japón
Yoshi Hioki and Chisa Majima

Jam session of stories and koto (Japanese harp)
Tales of rice fields and the imperial court, of animals, monsters, gods... The tales and legends of the land of the rising sun told by narrator Yoshi Hioki will elicit a gentle tinkling in the hearts of anyone who listen to them. The narration will be woven together by melodies played on a ‘koto’ (Japanese harp) by Chisa Majima, as if they were delicate rain falling on a bamboo forest. A fusion of storytelling and ancestral music for adults staged especially for the Veranos de Villa festival, in collaboration with the Japanese Embassy in Spain and the Japan Foundation.
