One of the objectives of this edition of the Veranos de la Villa Festival is to eliminate any communication barriers so that all members of the public can enjoy the activities. Different icons are therefore provided for each event, together with a more detailed and specific description.
The accessibility measures that exist are listed below with a specific filter for each one of them.
Places have been set aside for people with disabilities. These tickets can be reserved by sending an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org, by phoning (+34) 91 318 47 00, or by purchasing them directly online or at the ticket offices in Conde Duque Cultural Centre and Casa de la Panadería. Upon entering the venue, staff will require ticket holders to show a disability card or equivalent document that provides proof of disability.
We recommend that you arrive at least 45 minutes in advance to pick up the devices available to make content more accessible. In addition to assistive listening devices that make audio description and audio content more accessible, the festival will offer a mobile application enabling members of the public to listen to the relevant content on their own mobile devices, using their own earphones. Hearing loops will also be available for people with hearing aids or cochlear implants. Any information on how to download the app or on borrowing hearing loops and other devices must be requested from the area designated for this purpose, and devices will be distributed to people in order of arrival until full capacity is reached.
Events with audio description will include a pre-show touch tour for people with intellectual or visual impairments. Participants must arrive 75 minutes before the show to take part in the tour. Capacity is limited to 20 people, in order of arrival.
