Foto de primer plano de Salvador Sobral

Salvador Sobral is one of Portugal's most international contemporary artists, thanks to a resounding victory at Eurovision 2017 with a song written by his sister, Luisa Sobral, which achieved the highest score in the festival’s history.

Now, three years on, he will be the opening act at this edition of Veranos de la Villa, where he will present bpm, his latest album and the first one with songs written entirely by him, together with Leo Aldrey. Sobral defines it as “a reflection on music and life; a jazz album, but one with a lot of curiosity about pop, indie and even rock”.

On this new musical adventure, they are accompanied by Swedish pianist Max Agnas, by André Rosinha, one of Portugal's most esteemed double bassists, and by drummer Bruno Pedroso, a living jazz legend. André Santos, an experienced, versatile guitarist, rounds out the band.
